OK, so one of the major drawbacks with Vista is it's limited compatibility with older games.  And when I say "old games", I mean any game that was brought out before Vista arrived on the scene - You will very likely need to tinker a bit to get them working.  After I made it through the struggle to get the aforementioned games working I thought I'd repost my findings - after all, the internet is there for the diffusion of knowledge!
